CD/DVD Replication Process

CD/DVD Burning

Duplication is the process of recording information onto blank discs, CD or DVD, often called burning. The process is often referred to as burning because a laser is used to heat a chemical dye in the disc and literally “burn” marks that will be read as data. Because this thin layer of chemical dye is inside the disc, it is important to use high quality blank discs to get good results . . . similar to using quality film in a camera.

Is there any way to use avivo video converter to convert movies to dvd format? the dvd option along with the cd and super cd options give me a mpg file which I cant burn to be played on my dvd player. Also, what would be a good software to burn with?
